was going to build my own PC but due to pressing issues, i'm gonna be on the move a lot.
so, i found this Acer laptop on newegg, $399, good RAM, good HDD, AMD Anthon II X4 proccessor.
the only thing i have questions about is the vid card. ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4250 with 256 mb of dedicated memory. is this card any good?
thanks :salute

Check out reviews on "Toms Hardware".

You probably wouldn't be very pleased with the way it'd play AH. I'm sure it'd be ok for general purposes though.

It's based on Radeon 3400, which was even in it's time quite a poor performer. I've got a Rad 3870 with 512Mb (the flagship of it's time) and it's beginning to show it's age. Notebookcheck (http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Radeon-HD-4250.29664.0.html) tells you more on the subject, here's a comparison chart (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.130.0.html).
