Not really. Great great mission at 48 last night. Sent the higher b29s to draw folks away and then the NOE in afterwards. The only reason I saw it was because I happen to catch some ack firing after I was shot down. I guess some were calling it out but everyone was so focused on bagging a b29.

Truth is it wasn't so much planned, as it worked out that way.. 2 seperate groups, and we wern't coordinating, but realized on the way that the 29's would probably draw a crowd, and make our mission much easier.

That's even better. Seeing a situation develop and taking advantage of it.

Thanks, That was my mission. The Devil's Brigade (vTARDS) and the Alchemists were both suffering from low numbers at that time and were just plain frustrated by that stupid map.
So I posted a mission for Lancasters, Goons, and some decent attack planes to clean up. As luck would have it, it actually worked. We were all pretty surprised.

Well then you are welcome vWNTRGRN. But your mission specs don't match the OP's remarks. ;-)
Your NOE mission was successful into that large airfield for one reason only. The Jokers had half the Knight airforce chasing our 15K b29's around. :lol
Landed me 3 scalps in that sortie. Awsum tail guns. :D

Yeah we got very lucky, dont get me wrong that take had little to do with skill. And we couldn't have gotten any luckier than having B-29s out ahead of us. We only got it because we got it while their backs were turned.
Flakhapy was the planner, I just posted the mission but I think it was good thinking on his part.

Knights do that all the time. It's called a vulch, I mean suppression of the enemy. :D

Seize the moment and never look back. Roger that!
