Title: More trains and supply convoys to strafe
Post by: Jed on March 02, 2011, 08:33:54 PM
Finding more trains and supply convoys you get credit for strafing would be fun .   Don't know  what implications for disrupting these supplies would be. (Small)   Maybe I don't look hard enough and there are some down there already. I know there are trains near the cities right? It would be sweet to take out some trains  out with a 47...

These days we mostly see supply trucks... Which don't shoot back.  As far as I know now they are only by the factories stretching out a few miles and then kaput.

Something should be done!!!  More AA along the countryside to thwart the NOE'ers!!!

Standard terrain setup is a 10-mile long track (rail for strats and HQ, and roads for bases).  Look for the little shack near a base and you can trace the route back to the starting point.  I haven't timed it out, but I think it's something like every 15-20 minutes a supply train/convoy starts heading toward it's destination.  By destroying the supply vehicles, you are increasing the resupply time for its destination.

Every base/strat/HQ has a supply line.  Go find 'em and strafe away!   :salute

i think ttrains are only for cities? could be wrong but it looks  like the convoys are faster than the trains? seem right to you?

One of the best parts about attacking a port is finding the supply barge and destroying it.
