Last year my friend's kid (7 or 8 years old) was not allowed to fly back to Philly from Dallas because he was on the no-fly list...
:noid

I remember when it used to be the kids and not the adults wanting to view the cockpit.

there is an up side to no fly lists
Officials confirmed on January 30th that the man in question had confessed to adding his wife’s name to the list after she left for Pakistan. In turn, the man’s wife was not allowed to board a plane home to the UK for three years.

Having just finished a 2 and a half year battle with USCIS/Homeland Security over the status of my 2 an a half year old son, I can say without a doubt, there is much more truth to that cover then there isn't.
The fingerprinting, physicals, investigating, forms, fees etc made it easy to start believing that they thought my son was a bad guy. His "Authorization to Work" and "Green card" both have the Homeland Security stamps all over it. where a 2 year old gets a job I don't know, but he had to have that card.

In my opinion all of the extra 'security' they keep heaping on the airports is a waste of money and manpower and just makes getting past it a more inviting target.

I prefer to roll my own...
(yes I know I haven't made a log entry in a few months, but the brewery has been top priority as there are a few weddings coming up that I am supplying. I'm also trying to automate a bit more so I can fabricate parts WHILE brewing :) )
