There's a whole website dedicated to that stuff: www.aurgasm.us
Earlyer you could actually download most of the songs free of charge too, now it went paid it seems. You can still listen to whole songs though.
edit: most of the songs are still downloadable actually!
One more: James Blake http://vimeo.com/15624524
turn up your subwoofer on this song to wake up the neighbours :)

I've harped on the subject before here on the BBS but I still think Alejandro Escovedo is one of the greatest rock 'n roll acts out there right now. A bit of a local legend in his hometown of Austin Texas he's relatively unknown otherwise. His music is all over the place, pulling in bits of punk, pop, country, he even plays with a string section sometimes.

also..all the songs in the Savatage album 'Edge of Thorns' are amazing songs most people dont hear about since this group is mostly heavy, screechy, annoying metal... except the above mentioned songs/albums.

Cheap Trick in the Hammond Civic Center in Indiana was the first concert I ever attended. I went to see UFO, but Cheap Trick blew them off the stage. Bought this album and "In Color" the next day (on LP - yes, that long ago.)

A great tune from a relatively obscure band: (outro solos are excellent)
