THIS POST IS NOT TO upset the other guys but to say thank to the Bish nation as a whole . With the new 20% rule, the Bish have come together and change some maps :O. The perkies can pay for this new B-29 rides :banana:. Again, thank you bish for joining my missions, the devils, the jokers-Salute ;).

So now I know why The Few moved over to the Rooks, they needed a good home. While its good to have The Few flying around with us (I'm still looking for Yarbles at 30k to fly his wing) but it was fun to dog fight them while they flew Bish. Sad, the Bish kicked'm out. Well, I guess I will have to invite the occassional Few to the DA, once BOG is over. As for the Bish Horde, on a serious note I do like climbing into a horde. A few weeks ago DMGod and myself bounced two or three Bish hordes in a row, both of us flying the Temp. We racked up some serious kills, good fun had by all.

DMGOD made a low bomb run on the CV I was on and I caught him.

I had to take my frustration out on a bunch of innocent well meaning cons.
Killing all those cons was okay I guess, but it didn't give me that same fuzzy feeling ya know.

Yup, I figured "what the h3ll, it was horded from us" so I took control of our CV and steered it back in the direction of A8. And if you recollect, it wasn't a "horde rolling an undefended base Bish style" because there looked to be about 25 or 30 of you guys up defending when I go there, it was one massive stinking furball for about an hour til you guys got beaten back, gave up and got capped. Heck, we weren't even trying to take the field, people were yelling over vox because several guys had rolled LVTs and got all the way to town to find no one had even started taking it down, and no one brought ords.
The difference in us and you guys is how we got A8 vs how you guys got it from us.... when I logged on at around 9pm eastern time, there was a huge fight between knit A8 and bish A9, and it went on for quite some time. We apparently weren't trying to take A9, just a huge furball. Then bish up a huge mission out of a field to the SE, come in high in bombers and drop all the hangers at A8, killing the fight. After that it was horde, cap, and vulch. From fun fight for hours to nothing in a matter of minutes.
When we took A8 back we did it without dropping a single hanger to my recollection, Heck, I don't think we even took down half of the field ack.
And nice picking in the Spixteen.
So once again, let's recap: Huge Furball =/ Horde.

I switched to Bish with the AK's when the new month rolled around 2 weeks ago. My observations are that the people and how they play are the same on all sides. There are individuals from each side that may stand out but as a whole the mix seems about equal. The gameplay and cameraderie also seem to be the same again.

HOtard I was in the A8->A9 fight then the CV->A8 fight for 3+ hours. I saw how many were there and when. You guys had CONSTANT strength (15+ aircraft, full dar bar) at A8 from the moment you guys took it.

kill #1 you dropped your spixteen in from 4-5K above me after I killed a D Pony on the deck in a turnfight in my Typhoon. I guess it wasn't a pick technically because had already killed the guy, but low and slow I was toast against your 400 mph uber skirt ride. Can't out turn, can't out run. and we were waaaay out over the water, half way between bases when that happened, and not in a "furball." Not that it matters.
Kill #2 I never saw you, I got popped just as I killed a 109G14 with my P-39Q on the deck, in another turnfight. All I know is you swooped in and BAM tower. At least I got to see that tater take his left wing off first.

A couple of weeks ago on which ever map it is with tank island on it.. the nits ( maybe rooks... which ever flag you guys were flying that day) had the whole island, and we (alchemists) launched a noe mission from the south to attack the southern airfield... 103??? anyway DMYANKEE ( who was bish at the moment) happened by and asked our target. Not suspecting any foul play, we enformed him of our target. 10 minutes later, halfway to the target, You, another DM and a third nit just happened to drop down on the formation from high 6, all 3 of you in Tempests. After loosing a bomber to one of you DM's it occured to us to check the roster, and sure enough Yankee and, I believe another of you were Bish, the rest Nit. Soon thereafter Yankee switch countries to nit. We called you on it then on 200, and I'm calling you out on it now. Flakhapy, and the other alchemists who were involved can vouch.
I was wrong about 1 thing. ManaWar, as irritating as his kill club is, is a straight up player, and doesn't belong in your squad. My apologies to him. :salute

This seems to be the common mantra of the bish to "deport" certain players/squads from the bish community because they are not "true or loyal" to a chesspiece. Our squad been through it after we decided to tour and seems as though the Few and now the DMs are having their bish passports revoked.
:confused: I dont get this. Who has the right to tell you how and where to play? You guys that play the strategic landgrab need to stop with the paranioa that people are out to spoil your fun. No grown adult cares that much about pixelated strategy games and the ones that do are few and far between and honestly, your game wouldnt be that fun if you succeeded ALL the time now would it?

FYI I wasn't directly in the mission, I had launched earlier in an LA and was high above the group. I didn't hear Yankee's conversation, this is just what I got from squadies that were involved. After u guys dropped in on the group, I dropped down and took out the non-DM of you 3. I can however firsthand vouch that I did too check the roster and u guys were on 2 different sides. Circumstantial evidence as it is, scum have been convicted on less.
I'll check with my squadies and be glad to give you a list of names (with their permission) In the mean time I guess I'll just stock up on soap.

Tralfaz, u guys can fly on any side IMHO.. I don't really care.. well actually I get a bit tired of Dr. Bone killing me.... Truth is I don't care which side the DM's fly on either.. change as often as you like. I know Bone has switched frequently even on the month you guys were "bish" just to even thing up... be able to fly perked planes, whatever. All I really wish is to see is a level playing field. I myself for a time went from Bish to Knight, then Rook then back to Bish. A walk about you might say. I enjoy identifying myself with a particular "country". If others like to be nomadic so be it.
Well guess I've ruffeled enough feathers for one day <S>.

I don't exactly understand how everyone complains of hording. Its a combat flight sim is it not? In combat you do whats easiest, quickest and most likely to result in victory. Not whats fair, and not what gives your opponent a chance to resist. We all can, and do use the same tactics of hording, taking out hangars, sneaking captures, etc. Its a matter of a nation out thinking another in how it implements them. Sure some things detract from the challenge in this game, but implementing these tactics is where the challenge lies on a larger level. We all have relatively equal starting positions, able to implement the same strats, using the same planes, so why can one side complain about another using theirs to gain an edge? And sometimes, fighting a loosing battle is just going to happen....heck just winning that 1/10 base def against a horde is satisfying. Ill use a8 on TT as an example. We were hit for hours by horde after horde, upwards of twenty enemy cons at times. They were "merciful" I suppose you could say, and left us hangars. Time after time we beat them back into the sea, until finally our resistance faltered. It was great, to have such fierce action, if eventually we still lost the base. I know i got more then a few perkies destroying those sea planes so its not like we were missing out on the fun . It really does feel sometimes people expect the red out there to play fair....after you hold your fire on a HO just hoping you might get a good 1v1, only to catch a face full of lead should teach you that "If you cant beat em, join em."...shoot up a mossie and get some revenge :) Just be glad the nations are in proportion....otherwise some would never have fuel, others would be running out of planes, and the rest of us would be bored out of our minds :) I will now don my riot gear, my body armor, and prepare for the worst :)

After the bish had reset the map in "off hour" arena I did try to organize something.
I called for everyone to switch to bish on the new map. There was only 30 minutes or so until the split arena start so I figured if we ALL got on the Bish side we could run enough missions with enough guys to reset the map one more time before the split. :aok

Ripley, too dang funny! Yes, in fact it was a real person.
So now I know why The Few moved over to the Rooks, they needed a good home. While its good to have The Few flying around with us (I'm still looking for Yarbles at 30k to fly his wing) but it was fun to dog fight them while they flew Bish. Sad, the Bish kicked'm out. Well, I guess I will have to invite the occassional Few to the DA, once BOG is over. As for the Bish Horde, on a serious note I do like climbing into a horde. A few weeks ago DMGod and myself bounced two or three Bish hordes in a row, both of us flying the Temp. We racked up some serious kills, good fun had by all.

It might appear that we are always on the other side and not yours but it is with great regret that a certain Bish individual had to cry foul recently. When after our 2 monthly swap he kept getting killed in 20 man horde missions by yours truly and he went off the deep end.
I won't hold it against the other Bish and we will swap back there when it is time, I will just have a harder time convincing my squaddies that it is worth it.
We have always reserved the right to swap for a few hours if the side we are on have an extreme advantage in player numbers.

the problem with the last Bish tour with us being "The Many" we were making a noticeable impact on making Bish even more over populated than they are usually. During the off hours arena when most of us fly it was pointless trying to find something to shoot at.
If people can get over their country loyalty and see us just as a band of mercenaries who have no biase in who wins the war then maybe it will be more acceptable to those who haven't seen the light yet.

The Few DFC is the subgroup of The Few that takes great pride in their work ethic and accomplishments to be the best dogfighters in the game. hmm i didnt know winning required killing the other person. i thought we had to have 20% of each of the other sides fields while keeping control of at least 90% of our fields? they didnt say we had to kill you to take the base now did it. to be honest i can care less about kills. its not a big deal if i get shot down, or if i shoot someone down. i love to fly, that is why i play this game.

ya know, im gonna step in the fire now. and agree with one thing, if all you do is "kill" players in this game, then your pretty useless in the whole picture of things ack.
sure, killing other players is fun. but i'd rather have someone whos more of a team player, who brings troops, helps deack, helps attack cvs, resupplies bases, and cordinates missions. instead of someone who does nothing but create furballs over bases in his p38.

I've been there, done that and still have the t-shirt. I've played all things this game as to offer far longer than you have and the thing that keeps making me come back are the fights, not resetting the map.
sure, killing other players is fun. but i'd rather have someone whos more of a team player, who brings troops, helps deack, helps attack cvs, resupplies bases, and cordinates missions. instead of someone who does nothing but create furballs over bases in his p38.

I believe the only time I've seen you in the main arenas was the one time when I was in the Mid-War arena and you hid in the tower until I left and the time we went to the DA. So that is a total of two times, one of those times was me killing you and the other you hiding in the tower. Nice.

If it weren't for the pickers, and the hoers, and the alt monkeys, as well as bomb****s and vulchers and toolshedders and spawncampers as well as the hordes (who'd I miss) this game would get pretty boring pretty quickly. After all, who would be left? There are opponents that I absolutely love to "hate" in this game, and its not because their tactics are ineffective. If I don't like you in the game its probably because you stopped me from accomplishing my objective, and for that I <S> you, you rat bastage.
On the other hand, being "hated" by an opponent is hopefully an indication that I or my squad have stopped him from his objective. I know that I speak for the majority of my squadmates when I say that it is a violation of our squads values when one of our members flames or gets personal with their attacks against another player. Furthermore, our squad is encouraged not to tune to 200, as it unnecessarily fills our chat buffer, and frankly has little to offer but smack talk usually. But as you know, there's at least one in every crowd (or horde if you prefer,lol), and we have a pretty big crowd. Please don't judge us all by the actions of a few, and I will encourage my squadmates and countrymen to do the same.
In the meantime, I remain the respectful cannon fodder for a few of you elite, a tenacious opponent for the masses, and an unaplogetic toolshedding bomb****ing picking hoing and even a vulching picktard when the opportunity presents itself. I only hope I can expect the same from you.

Del, Its very noble of you to offer but I've tried taking a couple of these "airquake" guys and show them a few things or two that I learned so they can appreciate other aspects of the game.
Until they get over the deepseeded paranoia that you are trying to make them "play your game". They wont listen. Its ashame that the only way to teach these guys is if they get it out of their system during their first stages in their AH careers. Then again...some dont grow out of it.
I hope at least one guy takes you on your offer. With the right attitude, just a few minutes in the DA to learn some new things on the game instills confidence that you dont NEED the saftey of the horde to survive in this game

This is where a quick joke turns ugly, with lots of finger pointing. It starts out as a slam against the Bish for flying hordes. It is noted that they kicked The Few out (joking I'm sure since The Few rotate) then DMGod notes the Bish don't seem to like Drunken Monkeys either. Then Mr Ripley encourages people to google image Bish, Rook and Knight to see what comes up. More slams on hording then I note how DMGod and I climbed into two or three hordes in a row flying Tempests. Fun had by all. Then a gentleman from the 'v' squad references shooting down DMGod in less then flattering tones and its off, 15 more pages of insults, finger pointing, etc.
At this point there is not settling it, just a quick summary of how it turned into a bar fight. I suggest we dump this thread and move on, but by all means enjoy. From the outside I don't know that anyone comes across as either vindicated or noble. I see some sticks I respect thrashing each other with no beneficial outcome possible. :headscratch:

...when was i hiding in the tower? i was actually upping with the exact purpose of going after YOU. i saw you were a knit, and we had a base being attacked close to the knit border, so i upped a 38 and went there to look for yours, but you landed your kills before i got there so im guessing ether you werent at that base at all, or i upped to late to intercept.
ask anyone that was on my side that day, i told everyone that if they saw a knit p38 to "let me handle it myself".

only sick puppy i remember ever engaging in mid-war was colt. and that was one time. we had a good fight too, and i didnt "bad mouth" him. i never saw you announce over open you were "hunting". only time i remember seeing you in there was when i upped to see if you were over the base being attacked, but you landed your kills. i shot down a p51B&spit over the base, but was killed by a HO'ing 190. i upped 2 more times to that base, a p38 did show up, but it wasent yours. and no, i wasent "attacking" knits. i was helping to defend our base which was being attacked by knits.
and you actually believe black70? :rofl that man has been sore at me ever since the 5 times i shot him down over the summer.
and what tour did this all supposidly happen? because i dont remember upping 17's in mid war. :headscratch:

Ya know I won't mind the horde so much if someone could come up with a way to fight one. And no, doing a 2 hour pork run, or getting my own horde together are not viable answers. I log on for an hour or two of FUN. 2 hours of porking is NOT fun, and contributing to a horde is NOT fun. I don't see how "most" in a horde can consider it fun. OK I can see the "sense of accomplishment" in the groups as fun. They might as well just hand out Nukes and people can take turns dropping them and capturing bases and then patting each other on the back.

Every single post you make on this forum is about how we suck and how we ruin the game for you because we don't play the way you think we ought to. Every post. There's nothing anyone needs to know about you or hear from you except that for whatever petty personal reason you hate your former squad and will take any opportunity to spew more venom on that account. Most of the guys that have been here years have been here and done that. Allthough Im still considered a noob being that some of these guys are older than dirt in this game, Ive always taken what they said objectivly only to see that they were right all along.
I could care less about how you guys play. History shows that every few months, some armpit general decides to gather 50 noobs to form some 10 winged mega squad, run mayhem on the map and piss off the players on the recieving end. Given tme, their roster shrinks to virtually nothing because either guys got bored with the same ol, same ol and moved on to other things or that 2 weeker that used to run goons for you just never showed up to actually subscribe.
Please dont be so arrogant to think that I actually care about you or that pixelated base you guys had fun taking last night. Plenty of room and choices that I can find my own fun anytime I log in. You are too ignorant to even tell the difference between a complaint or an oppinion someone has when posting in a forum that is is there to debate and well...get your oppinion on a subject. Here on the BBS and in game, you dont bother me and never will bother me. Its much funnier than anything. You pay your 15$ to play your game, be it "HOO-AH..Were TEH BEST", Ill pay mine to laugh :aok

They both used massive number of bomber formations to flatten fields and of course, quite a few ack killers/vulchers too. The only difference was that at least the rooks came in at alt with a dar bar warning. I have a film of the sortie that made me log (yeah, horde got another one to log off!). A NIT noe with at least 12 sets of Lancs and B-24s as well as a bunch of fighters - all going straight to smash the field. I'm sure there were more coming, but the film viewer only records out to 11k.

This game is much more fun with a Wing-man. Chewie just has 50 at a time in case one gets shot down he wont have to fly alone and get jumped. :salute
When the CJs switched to Rook we were doing lots of land grabbing IE, noe Lanc runs with 10 -30 people following.
We had a blast and everyone else didn't.
I say have fun you Bish while it last and enjoy.

Again, you DONT know. The squad and I are always willing to give newcommers a helping hand. The difference between you and I is the fact that what we teach them, is not for OUR benifit so we can use him as cannon fodder, or use them to achieve our personal goal of ruling the map but teach them a new level to the game that was taught to us, to instill enough confidence in themselves that they dont need 50 other guys to cover them or for any other chest thumping you guys do. Its a level of the game that is very very obvious that by the way you guys play, is extremly unfamiliar to you.
Guys like you are a dime a dozen in this game and I dont fault you for it. Its the point/click and shoot/instant gratification gaming generation that is to be now a days. Ive conceeded to accept this and log on every night and try to "change my game" in order to adapt to it and the day I dont want to accept it anymore is the day I cut off my subscription.
I encourage you guys doing what you do...HAVE FUN!! The circle of life keeps going and soon youll run out of steam, either log off in boredom, quit your subscription or HOPEFULLY find that other level of the game everyone is talking about, enjoy it and pass it down. Until then, search the boards, You are NO pioneer to tactics or trailblazers in gameplay

To whine about something means you have to care about it. Ive never complained to how you play but must admit to cracking up about it. If you have doing what you do, then keep on bud :aok.
You seem to be very annoyed at the fact that what you do doesnt greif me but humor me as does your views to whos skill less in this game. Take it objectivly, if you saw things from a different perspective, and you would laugh too.

I know I apologized to you in the forum for my squadmates behavior, and stated it was contrary to our squad principles. I also sent you a personal message acknowledging your point, and assured you that such behavior would dealt with by our command staff. I even sent you a personal message in the game to let you know that it had been dealt with.
I have never had, and frankly hope to never have any problems with you (except for maybe surviving our virtual combat, lol). Our "squad" didn't start this, an individual started this. Our squad let this individual know that his behavior was unacceptable. I have never treated you with anything less than respect. Please don't disrespect me by making generalizations about my entire squad, I suspect that if you took the time to get to know us on an individual basis, you would find that as individuals we're pretty much like everyone else in the game.
