Title: <S> Rooks B29 Mission during Titanic Tuesday
Post by: Hap on March 15, 2011, 10:29:45 PM
Great job guys.  I died trying to thwart you, but anything that gets us off the deck into the thin blue air I like.

Thanks for the opposition.
That was my mission and we had quite a few B-29's with us.  Only 6 made it back I believe we had a total of 33 B-29's up with us (Not all formations).  Stealth is working on a video of the mission.  I will say that is the most Interceptors
I believe I have ever seen attack us. At one point I believe about 30 190's and jugs etc,. passed us head-on.  It was by far the wildest Buff to Interceptor fight I've ever experienced.  Truly an epic experience.

On another note we will be launching two more missions this month as I received unwanted news from our training department today.  I was supposed to start my systems ground school for the CRJ-700 captain upgrade next week.  Apparently the training department is so backed up with training that I had to be moved to the next class which begins the first week of April.  Due to not having enough qualified sim instructors that can do type rides.  We are in such a pilot shortage right now and are canceling flights on a daily basis with brand new airplanes sitting in Montreal all painted up with no pilots to fly them.  So since I can't flow right out of ground school and into the simulator they wish do delay my training, allegedly they have been getting to many "unsatisfactory" check rides with guys waiting on the sims.

Also, we would love to have any other "Bomber" Squadrons from the Knights or the Bishops fly with us next Tuesday during our next Epic Mission.  My record so far has been 88 uppers in one mission with 42 sets of bombers and that was a B-17 mission I did right when they changed the layout of the Industrial Center and strats.  Farm some perks with the old Betty or Ki-67 in the next week if your interested.  We will be doing it again sometime Next Tuesday night.

It was fun Swoops.  It was my first B-29 mission (having enough perks only for a single), so being in the crowd made it more survivable...which I did. <S>

Great raid!the best massive  high alt fight in years, got 1 B29 and but after 2nd pass ,ELK hammered  my motor with his 20mm antlers. :lol
Arena split is bad ,this massive raids would be fun more often , but are possible only in TT.
