one early july morning my pops my momma my sis in law and her son got our camping gear and boat ready to go camping at our fish camp. 12 miles away to our fish camp. we pulled into the river mouth and saw sum1 sitting on top the hill. from a distance we could tell it was somebody just sittin there looking south. as we got closer I could tell this was no ordinary eskimo like us modernized, he had long bushy dark black hair n he had summer gear on < animal skin on outside> . can see the skin hoody too. we got closer, about 200 yds n he took one look at us then looked away n these BIG brown wings came out from his sides, then his body disappeared n he turned into a golden eagle!! he took one swipe w his wings n just soared into the sky south until we could not see him anymore.
all this happened when i was about 14yrs old n i was hoppin n freaking out practically had a panic attack lol. freaky stuff there man. I will never forget that experience.

The posts you post on peoples posts are quite immature and inconsiderate and you have no respect for anyone or anything and it baffles my mind how you dont get banned from these forums.

Political correctness does nothing but make the shining flaws of humanity stick out
like a sore thumb.
That being said, Greens, I've not seen a shaman or a spirit as I live closer to the
sane people. :P I enjoyed your anecdote though. Thanks for sharing.
Stay warm Greensies

Yea one night I had a dream about Native Americans dancing around a fire and it scared the crap out of me. I don’t know why I was scared. Nothing bad was going on in the dream. I have Cherokee blood in my family history going way back. I was sitting in a parking lot the next day smoking a cig waiting on a ride and thinking about my dream, at that moment a car driving by let out what sounded like an authentic chant or cry (not the typical wo wo wo). I got goose bumps from head to toe and thought this can't be a coincidence. Weird stuff man.

Sounds like one of the early Paragliders, he just waited on top of the hill for the perfect thermal coming ;)

I've never once witnessed anything "paranormal."
I, however reserve judgment on anyone who claims they have, as I sure don't know everything.

People have their right on who to believe n who to not, thats why God gave us the right. I certainly was not a believer when people tell "stories" about "seeing" things or weird stuff unexplicable to the typical/normal eye. And if I didnt see with my own pair I would definitely not believe him/her either. who wouldn't?. As for my "story" it was a true event and I hope you guys believe my "story". :salute
greens
ps now I believe ppl when they have legit "stories" of seeing shamans/spirits
as for ghosts I dont believe in em, but shamans yes.

And I'd like to see you live in New York City for a year! It goes both ways. :lol Heck I'm from a pretty large urban area and *I* don't think I could deal with NYC for a year!
Regardless, while I believe that Greens believes he saw what he saw I personally have a hard time believing it actually happened. Perhaps he was hallucinating or daydreaming at the time.. or perhaps he's remembering a dream he had when young. Also younger children will sometimes take stories they've been told by people close to them (such as parents) and remember it as reality even if that's not how it happened.
My dad told us a story of when his mother died. I was 8 at the time, my brother was 11. We lived in Houston, TX and my grandparents lived in the St. Louis, MO area. He learned that she was ill and on borrowed time, so we hopped in the car and drove off. He was trying to quit smoking at the time and was allowing himself only one smoke every hour. During the drive we were on the Oklahoma turnpike at he looked at his watch and noticed it was 1:03 AM! "Three minutes late for my smoke" he thought so he lit one up and right after doing so he looked in the mirror. He saw his mother sitting in the backseat between us with her arms around our heads. She looked at him through the mirror and said "I love you, son." My dad looked forward quickly at the road and when he looked back again she was gone. It took about ten minutes or so to find the next exit and a payphone and in tears he made some phone calls and found out that she had just died in the hospital, at 1:03 AM.
I'm not quite sure what to believe about this story. My dad swears its true and to be perfectly honest I can remember it happening EXACTLY as he describes. I can remember the exact tone of her voice when she spoke. I can remember exactly how her arm was resting right behind my neck, and I can remember the 'blank' kind of look on my dad's face when he was looking at her in the mirror. There are many very small details that I remember about the incident. But how could I? I was asleep at the time. I didn't even know it had supposedly happened until my dad told us about it several months later, as he kept quiet about it for fear of not being taken seriously. Heck I remember more about the incident than I do about his phone conversation and the restaurant parking lot we were in while he was talking on the pay phone (during which time I was awake!)
So how can I remember all of this about the incident, even though I was so young AND ASLEEP AT THE TIME?! Because I want to believe it. My dad's story is so convincing that even though I may have no real recollection of the incident, my mind makes it real for me. My mom and my brother have no memory about it, but neither of them really ever believed him nor cared about it either. Do I believe that her spirit appeared to him one last time to reassure him of her love? I really don't know. I tend to have more of a logical and less of a spiritual mindset, however I *DO* recognize that there is still a lot out that that we do not understand or even know about. I know he saw what he saw and while it's quite possible he dozed off for a quick second and dreamed it, I also think that would surely be a crazy coincidence. But then again, I'm see some crazy coincidences in my life so I can't rule out that possibility either.
