Agreed. But, in game, what would the roles be for lightly armed and armored (Japanese and some early British) or slow and heavily armored (Matilda?)
What models do you have in mind?
For EW, let's throw in early panzers and french tanks as well.
But, if the new vehicles are not uber, they will end up hangar queens only used in scenarios.
The OP's Puma might actually find a niche in the LW MA.

as far as hangar queens...they wouldn't get used any less than the sdkfz-251, spit1 or d3a in the lw arenas...even the mossie 16 hasn't gotten much use since it was introduced.
need to think of the value beyond the romper rooms...panzer 2 and 3, type 97 chi ha, type 2 ho, cromwell, crusader, churchill, valentine, mathilda...would all fill a niche somewhere...the ah world does not being and end in the lw arenas.

I would have to agree with ths post. I think that the British Armor is waaaay underrepresented in AH (I know the Firefly is a British Design). It can be argued that the best Brit Tank in WW2 was the Comet, but I would have to say the Cromwell would be a nice addition to AH. Early designs to di not feature slping armor but whats not to say that a later version of it could not be implemented? I looked all over for the spec but keep being directed to stupid watermelon like tax pages and such , lol. If someone could help me out here I would appreciate it. Also, I think the Japanese armor was terrible in WW2 and the biggest gun any of them mounted was a 37mm...? I could and prob am waaaaaaaaaaaay wrong but please, I like to learn something new everyday lol!

The Puma would be fun to tinker with, its 5cm main gun would be something to be concerned with since the chance of the Puma getting a flanking position is quite good especially if it is working with other gv's. The M8 Greyhound really isnt a threat in most scenarios because it is quite weak in both armor and firepower. Speed is its only asset.
However, I vote for more EW gv's or even a re-model of the M3, LVT, and Panzer IV first. :)

it is very difficult to find the kind of data on japanese tanks that is available for u.s., german, russian and british tanks...i think french armor is better documented.
of the japanese tanks i could find data on, the main guns ranged from 37mm to 75mm...37mm was primarily used on the light tanks and tankettes, some medium tanks also...50mm and 75mm was rare.
the armor on all of them was light compared to other tanks...on the light tanks and tankettes, a .50 cal with ap ammo could chew them up...i can only speculate that it's because until they messed with the u.s. and russia, no other country had any real tanks to go against them.
imo, if you're going to bring something in based on it's historical significance in war to the country that used it, the japanese tanks belong in ah as much as anything else, like the b-239...assuming the proper data can be found.
