It is what I have been waiting for. I started my account a week before 1.02 just for this specific update. I see I am not alone either, since the arena's hit an all time high player count. That has to tell you something.
I fun to look into the future and guess as to where this could lead....
- Some permanent ground clutter for tanks to play in.
- Army units rescuing downed pilots
- The rumored M-2 Halftracks with 'paratrooper' grunts in back.
- The rumored M-2 with an artillery gun in tow.
- Light observation planes using an in-game spotting cooridinate function to aid the crew in spotting.
- A road and rail system for ground travel.
- Even more factories to bomb with bombers, like tank and truck factories.
- More vehicles like motorcycles and jeeps for artillery spotting.
- More airplanes like the IL-2 Sturmovik and 40mm cannon armed Stuka.
I have a vivid imagination, but this game is putting it to use. Its looking up.
