so I'm bombing some cities in my new b29 the other day... till i ctd'd over the city after drop and rolled a b17 instead.
did about 3-4 sorties over the city itself. got it down to 29% after a few runs. went and bombed the radar factory with a few bombs left as it was a target of opportunity. got it down to 92%.
got shot down by hgih enemy fighters.
upped again to bomb the factories some more as most of the city had been demolished.
before I even arrived at the target the radar factory was 100%
however the city stayed down at 29% all night.
can strat be resupplied like hq? (lame if so) seems like city can't be resupplied though.
what is down time for cities and strat?
-
no idea?
irrelevant because its ideal to plink a chain of town centers to scorehor in buffs?
irrelevant because a goon can get the strat back up in minutes? which would make it not strat

No idea if things have changed since above table was last edited
Table has the same values as this page http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/levelbombing/levelbombing.htm
which looks like it was made way back when (screenshots).

Not sure of the times. IIRC, city supplies the strats. If city is downed, strats stay down longer. Not sure if percentage of city down affects strat downtime, but do know that hitting the city AFTER hitting a strat won't affect the strat downtime as it's the state of the city at the time the strat is hit that determines the strat resupply time.

it is a simple question.
Can players drop supplies on factories and resupply them?
my experiences would say yes but im not certain? does anyone have definitive answer of the resuppliability of factories, HQ and cities?

You never could resupply cities, at least at no point during the last 6+ years.
Until the strats redesing you could resupply factories, but I haven't tested if you still can since then. But you may test it yourself, MW is a good place for that. It could be much quicker then waiting here for definitive answers ;)

So the tables linked above are wrong?
-
according to the link i posted you can resupply city also.
City City building 1 250 lb 3 hours Loads supplies for
factories and HQ City building Yes *
* Each drop of convoy or train supplies on damaged city targets reduces the 3 hour downtime by 30 minutes. Each drop of player supplies reduces the downtime by 15 minutes.

They are (or at least had been) wrong. I once did test it in two different arenas & maps, MW and LW. I attacked the city, then switched sides and started to do resupply runs. The only thing I could resupply in the (old) city was the ack guns.Once I got those guns back up, I stopped getting any perks, and down time of the city buildings didn't change at all.

I can now, came in Monday morning only to find out my Hard Drive took a dump.
I may be back fully operational late this week.
Yes city buildings can be supplied with supply drops.
City default down time is 6 hours.
A player drop drops are currently set at 30 min reductions (is a host setting).

So have you changed it recently? Because while the help page always had claimed this (and states downtime as 3 hours by the way), it was not actually possible in the past years. Not only I had thoroughly tested it in 2008 (no perk gain by supply drops, no shortened downtime - yes, I was checking and testing for hours ;) ), but other players did experience the same thing.
