OK gents...pending replacement from TrackIR have any of you experienced a broken TrackClip Pro where the swivel is for the LEDs to connect to the main body? My wife moved my laptop and broke my trackclip which was attached to my headset. Of course she said it wasn't her fault since they should have made something to be worn by men a little more robust than flimsy plastic.

Got that myself - sorted by using electrical tape to hold it in place. Stretch the tape out before applying to ensure its a tight fit.

I think when my replacement gets here I am going to tape it up like you guys are talking about with some electrical tape sort of like you tape an athlete up.

I just did the same thing only 2 weeks ago. Works better than before honestly... in fact if I had an unbroken one, knowing what I know now, I would probably electrical tape it to keep it that way.
That said mine lasted from whatever my registration date on these forums says until 2 weeks ago. Which is a few years anyways. If you broke it in a couple months you weren't taking very good care of it.

Used a hot glue gun to fix mine. This was after getting sick of using the tape.

Well they are sending me a replacement and do not want the broken one back. All I had to do was send them a picture of it. SO I am going to hot glue/tape this sucker up and see if it will work like it did before my wife broke it.

Next time lock the door on your man cave so she can't slap your head again for playing too much and break the new pro clip..... lol
