Title: Skin Request SWAP P-47d11 skin needed

Just reactivated the 348th FG Kearby's Thunderbolts courtesy of Stoney74. Looking for an olive drab, white tail, white wing leading leading edge skin to use in AvA, scenarios and as a submission in the in-game lineup if there isn't already one in there. I know I posted a similar thread a few months ago, still looking for an inspired skinner :salute

I think Stoney had gotten pretty far on "Fiery Ginger"; dunno if he ever submitted.

I don't what the state of skin swaps is; seems like I haven't seen an update in over a year?   Seriously, more than a year?   I wonder if skin rotations is something HTC is given up on.

The last picture in the post is Stoney's Fiery Ginger skin. He emailed me a few screenies of it, but he does not have it anymore and it is was earlier format as well that would not be compatible now from what I understand.

The last skin the introduced for the D-11 was rogerdee's handsome bare metal pacific skin, and that was easily two years ago. They add new planes and vehicles faster than they rotate skins, I could come to the same conclusion that it is extremely low on their priority list if it's even on there at all.

not sure why you guys haven't gotten any but my system downloaded a bunch of new skins in february...

the d-11s haven't been updated since 2009...at least on my list of skins.

That was the last skin added, and it is really nice. I don't think it's going anywhere soon :salute

Fiery Ginger was about 85% complete when the D-11 skin que filled up with other stuff, so I stopped work on it.  Unfortunately, I lost the working files when I did a reinstall of Windows a few years ago.  I still have some screen shots of it stored in Photobucket, but I just don't know if you can justify the time to do an entire skin when you'll never see it in game.  Adding them to Special Events maps adds a great deal of size to the map from what I understand, otherwise it would get done more often.
