Title: Books by Dilip Sarkar
Post by: MachFly on March 29, 2011, 02:12:09 AM
Has anyone ever read a book by Dilip Sarkar? I'm thinking about pre-ordering his book How the Spitfire Won the Battle of Britain, but since it has not been released yet I can't read any reviews and I never read anything by him I don't know if it's going to be good or not.

I have his book on 'Bader's Tangmere Spitfires" as well as his photo history on Bader.  I enjoyed them both.

I imagine a few now as they've pumped out lots of stuff that covers old ground for me.  Gotta remember I've been Spitfire crazy since 1980 when I went to England for a semester of College and made my first trip to Duxford :)

I never thought I'd meet someone who loves the Spitfire as much as me.
