Post by: noTch on March 30, 2011, 08:13:31 PM: I had the opportunity to see her fly into Barksdale AFB for an airshow. She stayed for a long time on our tarmac after the airshow was over. She was crippled and was repaired by a team of civilian and military crewchiefs & specialist and lifted for home a couple of months later. It was very awesome to drive by her on our way to work our B-52G's. It almost felt like she was still a part of our bomber inventory and if called upon to lift with the alert aircraft, she would :rock

I was at that airshow! They sure were careful with her.
