Someone should really take Midi up on this. I can't think of a better terrain making tutor.
-
Midi, I believe I'd like to take you up on this. Most of my free time is during the day but I have 3 good afternoons/early evenings per week that with the roll out of Daylight savings time, will now line up better with your evening times.
I don't have Photoshop, but perhaps I can do some things in Gimp and budget for photoshop in the future.
-
Knowing both of you, I'd say this is a good match. :aok

I don't know how Skype handles multi way conversations, but if you end up with a little group, Raven has a Teamspeak 3 server set up and it already has a separate Terrain Makers channel, if that works better for a class of mini-midi's.
The days that work for me are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday til 7:30 pm CST
-
Also forgot to mention that there is a modded version of Gimp out there called Gimpshop, that mimics the look feel and interfaced of photoshop.
I'll try to get on the TS server this evening when I get off work.

Sorry to take so long to post in here guy's. The Terrain Team has been pretty busy lately.
I will be getting with each of you soon. I'm considering having a Terrain 101 class on line by using either Skype, or Gotomeeting or something.
I'll post more info in a couple days.

We can setup GoToMeetings for Midi to meet with interested people. Just need a little lead time on when so I can set it up for you all.
