Rotax 912S?
:noid
I've ridden snowmobiles with bigger engines :D
Looks like fun. Build time seems a bit wild for a kit, though. Only 1000 hours less than my scratch-build (including the FWF time)

who has 90,000 to toss around in this economy, unless your bill gates?

Building something that looks like a Mustang, but sound like a lownmower an can barley out run a Cessna 172 is just wrong somehow. Like those kids who put a Ferrari body kit on their Pontiac Fiero. :(
Whatever happened to the Thunder Mustang kits? Last I heard they where trying to start production again. That was a sweet kit.
-
But unlike the 172 it can't carry four people.
-
I bought two of those for my twin sons, Roscoe and Oscar. They practice ACM against each other and once they're good enough I'll get them an Aces High account. For now though we're playing it safe and we insist they wear helmets because we don't want to be labeled irresponsible parents.

Yup, and for the price of that kit you could buy a pretty decent used 172, or Cherokee, or lots of things nearly as fast with a lot more useful load. I've been watching Trade-a-Plane and Controller a bit lately and it's definitely a buyers market for aircraft right now.

barnstormers.com is better than trade-a-plane IMO.

Could not have put it better myself.

Or you could scratch-build something for half the price :devil

Yeah! That's what I was talking about. Website says they are "Soon to be back in production!" But gives no specific dates.
