Title: System Display Message
Post by: 100Coogn on March 31, 2011, 11:08:40 PM
Be nice to be able to move the 'system display & damage' messages.  They kinda' overlap at times.

The chat window?  Left mouse click and hold, you can drag it anywhere you want on the screen. :)

No, I'm talking about the text window that informs us of our FPS, VidMem Usage and CNT.
And the other one that tells our damage.
This is an example of the damage message overlapping the bombardiers text.

That's the one he's talking about too. Use your mouse and drag it someplace else.

You can't move the damage display (CTRL D) or the calibration information (F6)
or the system memory/information (CTRL I)...  :headscratch:

Yup, my mistake. I'm moving the chat window too (I have mine centered top of screen). The Ctrl-I stuff doesn't move. Sorry about that.

I think Blooz was looking at the 'buffer text box' that is overlapping the bombscope.  I just meant all the text on the top left there.

Perhaps you should clarify who you're addressing.

Are you certain you can 'get rid of' the damage
display from the scope? Last I recall you can only
do so from the pilot's or gunner's seat. Hence, the
OP is suggesting a fix.

If you're addressing HTC, you could at least attempt
to make a thought out, intelligent post.

I'm glad that you are such an accomplished bomber pilot, that the status of your aircraft is of no importance to you.
Myself on the other hand, like to keep tabs on what's happening.
It's really not that hard to read the status of your calibration settings and watch your damage too.  That is "unless they overlap eachother" as the images depict
very clearly.

"thought out"

Really?

Happy Bombing
