Title: Any news on updating the in game VOX codec?

I remember a post where HTC stated that they were thinking of looking into improving the in game vox by using a different codec. Is this still on the road map? any update on this?
I would greatly appreciate it, if it still was in their plans.

HiTech got in game and put it in with the last update, there must have been something wrong with it because he disabled it after a few minutes.
