I would just like to give a little support to the guys that fly Zeros a lot,and land a good many kills.Fastone comes to mind, but there are many others that do well in Zekes.Sorry Fastone about the HO,but when your in a Zero, and I'm in a FW5,well you know the rest.I have finally went to the HO, as most everyone does it anyway.
Beware of the Zeke,as most people that fly them are pretty good sticks.

If I run into a Zeke at alt it's either a noob or someone who knows their stuff. Good plane. Yes it burns. Still a good plane.

The 80th enjoys running into numbers of zekes. We tend to film the maylays as they give a historical feel. <S>
We joke that we need to bring marshmellows, graham crackers and chocolate for smores.......and such. In the end they are only jokes and we love to fight the zekes.

Nishizawa underwent a remarkable metamorphosis in the cockpit of his Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter. "To all who flew with him," wrote Sakai, "he became 'the Devil'....Never have I seen a man with a fighter plane do what Nishizawa would do with his Zero. His aerobatics were all at once breathtaking, brilliant, totally unpredictable, impossible, and heart-stirring to witness."
This is what fuels my fire, what I continue to strive for, and hope to one day pay proper tribute to. :salute my fellow zero drivers.... BANZAI!!!!!

I went to the AVA last night. The Allies had the Axis outnumbered by quite a bit. I love my 38 but changed to help the low number side. I upped a Zeke and piled on the kills. not once was I lit up. I took a few hits from 2 different cons. My only problem in it is oversteering. It is very maneuverable. I actually turned into the ground while maneuvering at one point. lol
Was a fun plane to fly but I'd get bored of it pretty quickly i think.
