Thats the second frame of 1way f4us,and nobody else to show at target. Any way frame 3 could be heavy on the B29s 51s and 38s in a little more concentrated area?

With the new terrain that was released today, We can now accommodate B-29s pretty much anywhere on the map for FSO. The T+60 rule is what was keeping them in the West.
B-29s over Tokyo for Frame 3.

Hell Give US F4-U's :aok We had P-51's and were pissed!! VF-17 is an F4-U squad!!! We will always take the HOG!! If your squad ever gets them and we aint in them we will be glad to trade!!!!

I am sorry about the P51's VF 17. I saw that you were navy planes for Frame 1 and I needed fighters to take those B29's to target.

I haven't seen all the orders for all the different units, but if F4Us are being assigned as anything other than CV defense, it's a misuse of assets. These planes never could escort anything to Japan. They have short range. With MA 2x burn they have about 30 minutes of flight time. Taking 2x DTs literally DOUBLES the fuel storage onboard.
These planes could not and did not make it to Japan without a CV parked offshore (meaning, after the war was won, basically) to launch them.
So, if you get tasked with escort in this FSO you're not going to get a F4u. Most likely. That's how it should be. You don't get to CHOOSE your mission profile. The frame's CO does that for you.
You'd no more try escorting B-25s in I-16s, eh?

The Allies have no CVs to defend this frame and Japanese are purely on the defensive.
Without going into to much detail, we were given the choice of F6F-5 or F4U-1D. Also, FSO usually uses 1.0 Fuel Burn.

Ah, my mistake. Was figuring the F6Fs and F4us were fleet defense, since the setup lists Ki-67s for the axis. I figured they would be attacking fleets.
In that case, they probably ought not be in the setup. Doesn't fit, and can't perform the job (not enough range).

I was kind of surprised at the Allied Orders, should be an interesting Friday.
