I havent been on in awhile and just recently restored my computer and have no internet connection on my laptop since im on vacation, so i was wondering if aceshigh has the P47D skin called "Hun Hunter 5"? And which of all the jugs is the best in your opinion i flew the D25 for quite sometime and was really good at turning, also i heard the M and N versions were lighter. All im asking is some feedback from some of the jug pilots in the game. Thanks and salute

I like the D-40 with greebo's east india company skin the best.
But then, I die alot.

DERK, The D-11 is the best turner (lightest gross weight), M is the fast. No Hun Hunter skins in the game sadly. They are all perform best for turn fighting with less than 1/2 fuel.

ok nice i was just curious on the skin, i recently went to the tennessee aviation muesem near gatlinberg. Really nice place, the guy owns 2 P47d thunderbolts one is hun hunter 5 which is 1 of 2 thunderbolts that the supercharger still works. He other planes too such as the P51, sabres, migs, really neat stuff. Anyways ill post pics here when i can.

it is my understanding that the D-25 is the heaviest, and i used to fly it to capped airfields all the time, dive down from alt, scream in at 550 mph, and get a kill or two

Ok i used to do that awhile ago i coulc usually get 5 to 6 kills a sortie in the DA

The "N" Jug is the heaviest. Especially when loaded with fuel.
In order from lightest to heaviest (with 100% fuel, no bombs or DTs):
D11 - D25 - D40 - M - N

From memory I recall a Hun Hunter skin at one point. May have been lost when the P-47s were remodeled, and nobody re-did the bitmap to fit on the new shapes.

oh i was just wondering im not going to make 1 anytime soon. I was just asking if there was a slot was somebody out there workin on a jug skin, if there is maybe ill look into it just maybe i know its hard stuff
