My grandfather served in the Navy at Okinawa and I finally got around to researching his vessel. The USS Frontier AD-25. Klondike Class Destroyer Tender.

Not sure if this is all right (USS FRONTIER AD-25), but it was on his cap that he was given and that was eventually handed down to me.
Anyone else have anything interesting like this?
