Title: Saving pics in .jpg
Post by: MachFly on April 11, 2011, 08:34:39 AM
I'l like the ability to choose in which format the pictures get saved from AH. Right now only .bmp, it's a large file and for those of us that take ~10 pictures on daily bases they end up taking a lot of room and I don't want to delete all of them. Reformatting them manually takes a lot of time. It would be great if I could save them as .jpg from the start.

Fraps can do the above for you, among many other things.

You mean covert the images or take pictures?

Do I need to pay for Fraps?

Not every computer would be able to handle FRAPS running in the background
of AH.

you could do it in batch mode with the right program...freeware of course.

earier version worked pretty well.

You can always just film the sortie and use fraps on the film.

EDIT:  Full version of Fraps is $37.

Fraps hits the FPS when recording footage. For taking screenshots (the other thing it lets you do) there's no impact -- or so little impact it's not noticable.
