very odd thing has happend Track ir was working well with AH.....Then I had to reinstall AH a few nights ago... Now my trak ir 4 no longer works smoothly in AH.
In all the other Sims I fly it works perfectly.
Were should I look to remedy the way AH and Track ir work together in AH.
I'm now constantly unable to track a bandit in a dog fight and am constantly loosing track in AH, its just locking up until I re center it.
Could this be the way AH handles tir in its softwear? Is there a conflict between the pepole using hat views and track ir users possibly?
The reason I ask is that in any other Sim it works perfectly.
The only place I have issues with it are in AH and only now after reinstaling, that makes me think track ir and AH have some odd conflict or AH track ir and my system.
What ever the case there is something odd going on.

NrRaven, I would say check your profiles in trackIR control panel for Aces High. More specifically the titles tab and see if it went back to default :joystick:
Also, have you updated to the 5.1.200(build 9414) That seems to work pretty good

Check your camera position Raven and ensure no errant IR light behind you. If it loses track in a fight, it does all sorts of weird things - found my track clip wasn't pointed directly forward (had a downward angle on it) and views etc were jumping all over the shop.
Hope you get it sorted,

Thank you.
I'm having the exact same symptoms as it would if there were errant light behind me or camera angels were off.
But there isn't any errant light getting picked up and my angels are fine.
Tir works perfectly well in any other sim it also works perfect with head tracking graphs within the Tir soft wear.
Its only in AH that I have this issue.

You tried deleting your video8.cfg file? Contains your video settings and might have got corrupt (not sure why that would affect track ir tho).
Will try replicating my end - last time it happened to me, was because my track clip was pointing towards desk top, rather than camera - had to realign that even tho it looked fine in the tir software etc.

Interesting you should mention this Raven. Last night several times when I went to my over the shoulder view mine locked up. I think GP might have nailed my problem tho.
