Not bad for not flying a zeke at all :neener:
The allies sure had the harder slog in this matchup. It was a little surprising to me how many opted to fly (and die) in the p40, I mean it's a nice ride and *can* give a decent account, but in the general absence of more historical tactics...
It wasn't surprising to see many opting for the zeke over the tony.
P-47-D11: 53 40
P-38G: 9 4
P-40E: 7 7
Ki-61: 72 16

I'm guessing when the A6M3 comes out and I run this one later on down the road it might make a difference.
I was surprised to see some of SAPP guys gave up the 38 for the Zeke. Plus I was a little disappointed that one of the guys always screaming for a PTO with the P-47D11 failed to show. I agree you did very well in both the P-47 and the Tony.

I've been out of town, at work on my ship for a week and in a hanger with my mechanic 6 states away from home restoring my real airplane (1948 Globe Swift). Really sorry to have missed this one :( I was looking forward to kicking some IJA butt. When your A&P says I'm ready you have to go. <<S>>Shifty

Nice looking classic Seadog! :aok. Is it flying now? :salute. Time way better spent on the real thing than a :airplane:

I had a blast in the JUG. I was actually glad that many folks went for the Axis rides. I am just stuck on Allies rides and also like to side balance so, I found no problem flying almost entirely US metal this setup. Nice setup, I can't wait to see it again with the A6m3.
Nice pictures Seadog. It sure looks like a cool project.

She is getting there: rebuilt the magnetos, brakes, seals in the retracts, new wheels and disk brakes, new flap/retract motor, new instrument panel and glass. Still have to put the wings back on and strip the fuselage and get her down to some shiny bare metal . Its going to take at least another trip, hopefully by June she'll be back in the air :airplane: I will get one day on the gametomorrow before I ship out again for the week :D :devil
