Had to have some work done on my HDD for my laptop...burned the damned thing up. Gave it to a buddy, he offered to put in Windows 7 and tosds Vista, which I took in a heart beat. The issue though, My laptop is running extremely slow at times and I keep having to disconnect and re-connect to my WIFI to have internet. Checked the requirements for 7, 2GB for Ultimate 64-bit which is what my buddy installed, and Facotry my laptop has 3GB, the theory is I should be running 7 pretty good, no? I'm not doubting his work, he has done nothing but good work for me on my laptop, my brothers desktop and my recent rig I built when I was having issues starting it (helps if everything is plugged into the MOBO right ). anyway, thoughts on why my laptop would be running so slow every now and then and ned to disconnect and re-connect to WIFI?
EDIT: I'm running Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit, not 64. Sorry about that.

Check your wireless card drivers for the Wi-Fi issue. That card may not be compatible with win7. I had the same issue when making the switch from Vista. I had to buy a new wireless adapter, but that fixed it right up.
The performance issue could be a multitude of things. Can ya post a DxDiag here? I'm sure that'll net you some good advice.

didnt mean performance like system, meant it like internet speed. Pretty sleep deprived. Sorry Jager. I'll go about and see if i can figure out to check the wireless card drivers compatibility.
