Title: Coming this Friday 4-22-11, Breakout!!

This is a fictional scenario that will have simple objectives that players can choose to follow or not.

The objective will be base capture, but the level of challenge will be increased significantly.

BREAK OUT!!

It is late 1943 and the US II Corp is in trouble.

German and Italian forces have slammed the gate on a trap leaving US forces pinned between two rivers.

In full control of the bridges, the Axis is building up to a two pronged offensive to annihilate the armored forces and air assets trapped in the river valley.

With both lines of advance and retreat cut off, the US forces must break out........or be destroyed.

Allied objective is to make their escape toward the edge of the map by capturing at least two consecutive bases along any of the routes shown in yellow, but it won't be easy.

While field gun and town building downtimes will be increased to 90 minutes. Fighter and vehicle hanger hardness will be doubled and downtime for hangers will be halved. Ack lethality will be at .75 the MA default and capture will require 40 (yes 40) troops.

Axis objective will be to prevent the break out or failing that, cut off the escape route by recapturing bases.

I got a three day weekend I hope to take advantage of and get a lot of flying in this setup looks like the makings a fun weekend.
