I wonder if it shoots mines from the back.

Is it just me, or does it look like you could build something similar to this in a 2 car garage for a couple of grand?  Heck, it'd probably even perform better.

Well, you'd have to be set up for alot of fiberglass work already.  I should've said a few grand.  Was thinking less than 10 though.

EDIT:  Heck yeah I'd test fly it.  Over open water, wearing a life jacket, a helmet and a prayer.

My momma says I should always wear my helmet

The life jacket isn't going to help you much when you hit the water at 130.   :D

The life jacket is there for ease of body recovery. No reason to make the local PD dredge the lake bottom after you crash when you can take 5 seconds to put on a life jacket.

Looks a tad suicidal to me. Rather try this one:

It is a delight to fly.

The only control surface I see is the rudder.   :uhoh Make sure your will and life insurance are up to date before climbing into this one.

Jokes aside, I can see a market for it.

It'd have to come WAY down in price.  I could see it being very popular if it was about $15,000 new.  I wonder what regulations it'd fall under...  I'm thinking ultralight rules, so there would be some training involved.
