Not really.
After getting laid off from the sawmill and then schooling for nearly two years (I get my associates in automation tech. this semester), I got a call from a local heavy equipment firm to come to work after finals week.
Entry test, physical, interviews, etc, are all done.
Stoked as can be. Have been celebrating tonight. :lol

A big congrats!

Why the physical though?

Thanks for the kind words all. Nursing a terrible headache today. :lol
@oboe: I took some PLC and mechatronics classes, but the training and the job I'll be doing involve more electronic circuitry and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
@dedalos: Standard company procedure as far as the physical goes. Pulmonary function test, vision, hearing, dexterity testing, whizz quizz and the old "turn your head and cough" deal.
