It will work about as well as the rebels formulate and execute cohesive and coordinated battlefield tactics.

How do you aim, better yet, fire the rockets?

The 2x6 stand adds that panache to it.

Apparently it works halfway well....its the new version of armed reconnaissance vehicles in the desert.

People are fighting for their lives with any weapon/equipment in their hands. Absolute hilarious.

Just seeing that i ask my self, how did they get their hands on that? Do they have enough rockets and how are they getting them too? Can that be effective in anyway?

I think toyota is the big winner in the middle east conflicts.

I'm sure most of their equipment is captured from the Libyan army, which probably got most of its equipment from the Soviet Union.
Beside the PKM sitting next to it, there's something markedly Soviet-looking about the rocket pod itself.
I have to wonder if it works at all.

Hence the reason for what I posted earlier. It's an area weapon. Like the film of them in operation, it's a spray and pray deal. They just hose rounds in the general direction of the bad guys and hope they hit something.
As far as firing it is concerned they likely just hook up a wire to a battery and then touch them all off in a salvo through the mount connection. I doubt they even bother to check the back blast area.

Cool link motherland.
Didn't even know about it.

I am pretty sure that picture of the weapon is a set up. I am not a weapons expert but the first round will go straight up, anybody that has ever fired a slingshot can see that.

Ghadafi would surrender immediately if his old hair was in place of that weapon...

Funny thing is most of the older Olympic sport competitions are based on weapons used on the battle field. There is some irony in that picture lol.

It IS a rocket pod from a Russian helicopter. It was on the news a few days ago but they had some
sitting on angled brackets. They gotta fight with whatever they can get their hands on.
