Go into safe mode with networking, grab a copy of malware bytes, install, update and run.

If its a big one (rootkit, trojan.downloader etc) best option would be to reformat and start again. Malware bytes should tell you what it is, and attempt to get rid of it.

There are a raft of bogus av/malware killers/general rubbish doing the rounds here - which is good for me, but not so good for my customers.

screen blanked out for a sec, suddenly messages from my securtiy stuff telling me there is a problem(suddenly like 7 trojan warning) then they started shutting down and little cmd lookin windows came up going through my .exe files.then my firewalls went to hell and it blocked me from getting it back online :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead :bhead

Thats why you go to safe mode with networking - it loads only the processes required for the computer to run with minimal load, and allows you online to grab updates/malware killers.

If you cant get online, I'd suggest a format and start again.
