I am just curious if anyone uses Ammunition to Go to buy military surplus? I Have had a shotgun for about 7 years now and do trap shooting. Wanted to get a Mosin Nagant, the only thing keeping me from doing it is ammo prices. But since military surplus is so cheap I am thinking about following through with it. Again, has anyone used this site?

I haven't used that site to buy ammo, but I do have a Nagant and I buy military surplus ammo for it all the time. Stuff works fine, but some of it is pretty corrosive, so be sure to give it a good clean when you finish shooting.

Yeah I did some research and a lot of ppl say to spray windex and WD40 in the barrel when done.

By the way, that's a pretty good price they are offering. If it were me, I would buy a couple hundred rounds and give it a test drive. Heck, if you are planning to pick up an old Nagant, I would go ahead and buy some ammo now. You won't have any trouble finding the rifle, there are tons of them floating around out there. I bought mine for $50 at a gun show a few years ago.

Yeah they are going for about 100 around here. There are some good deals though, like 129 and you get a cleaning kid, ammo pouch, and so forth. The ammo is a bit more then shown since I have to pay to ship it, but its still WAY Cheaper then if I bought ammo at gun stores around the area. I am gonna try and see if there is a local surplus ammo store around here so dont have to pay shipping.

I buy my ammo from centerfiresystems.com or aimsurplus.com
7.62x54r & 7.62x39

I've used them twice for ammo, once a few years ago for some 5.56, and most recently, just two weeks ago for a couple of boxes of 9mm for SD.
They're fine as far as sellers go. Shipping was UPS Ground, and was sent out the next business day.

they sell AP rounds :aok :rofl

Does anyone know of any surplus sellers in california? A lot of these are based out of texas or farther east, and shipping is almost as much as the rounds lol.

Yeah, half the laws are stupid, and the other half are for the really stupid.
Definetley buy a few 100 before buying any serious quantities of surplus ammo for those old rifles. I have a couple Mosin Nagants, one of them in particular is real testy if I have cheap or any coroded brass casings that can happen with the surplus ammo. If anything can sour my good day of can-plinking is having to go home early and having to fish the front half of a s!@#y mother !@#$%ng surplus brass casing thats broken off when fired and is now firmly lodged in the front of the chamber (even if I brought the right tools with me, logic says we should try and find the cause of a dangerous problem before repeating the process again). Only thing worse was the time and effort I spent thinking and working on the rifle over this issue, I figured it might of been the gun and not the cheapest ammo I could find.
