Delete or rename the ahlogo file and then try again.

Post by: edog1977 on April 25, 2011, 06:22:43 PM: Pyro, I downloaded the file and the problem reappeared. I renamed the new file to ahlogo2 and the problem went away. Like Gyrene pointed out the clipboard comes up slower than normal.

Still only starts in administrator. (and i rebooted to make sure)

That worked, except the clipboard came up very slow. It took it about 3-4 seconds for it to pop up.

<edit> Just as a control test, I ran the same in Admin mode and it lagged just the same.

I tried "run as administrator"....didn't work for me.

I tried reinstalling entire game....didn't work for me.

I tried renaming ahlogo.....didn't work for me.

[EDIT] I have also tried downloading and installing the ahlogo patch and nothing, same logo screen and clipboard come up, then when I click any of the options, crash to desktop!!!

Can't get into online OR offline arena...getting seriously PO'ed right now.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium - 64bit.

But, my TrackIR mode is still no longer using the hps file settings for views like the saved 6view but, instead only relative 2-axis mode. Nor does the A6m3 alerons work after takeoff.

<edit> Ok.. I've gotten a couple 'program closed unexpectedly' errors since then. Once when I hit 'quit' from the lobby, after having been in the game.

Windows 7 64bit. Service pack 1.

Tried to run as administrator and the clipboard would come up but the minute I clicked on the ON LINE AREANAS all the clipboard options would disappear and my FPS would drop to 3, the cursor would jump around the screen when moved and then the game would lock up and stop responding. ??????????????????????. Tried to rename the logo file and ran the file provided. Game simply does not work now. Also tried just deleting the logo file. Nothing.

It will go to offline practice and appear to work, Still nothing when trying to go to online arenas.

deleted the logo file altogether. It will go to the clipboard from the desktop without having to run as adminstrator now but when I click on online arenas it crashes the game.
