1. game won't launch as before. must run as admn. that works fine, but curious why that changed. win7 64 bit.
2. gv's not working as before. view 1 (from inside vehicle(panzer)) view 1 looks like a combination of view 2 and 3. g key does nothing, w key puts it in 1st gear. stick won't steer the vehicle. possible other issues but can't test in this condition.
3. Track IR does not respond to F9 pause command as before. I need this function for gv's in order to switch to key board commands. I turned of Track IR and launched AH with the same result.
4. Ventrilo works fine until I launch AH and go to an arena. Ventilo does not work in game now.
please help!

item #2...you must have missed the announcement on the new tank controls a few weeks back...read the readme2240 text file in your aces high folder
you no longer have a driver position...keyboard controls movement...mouse controls turret from commanders view (open turret)
-
read the readme2240 in your aces high installation folder...some answers are there...
for turreted vehicles, no drivers position...mouse controls view and turret movement in commanders position...keyboard controls vehicle movement

For item #1, rename or delete the "ahlogo.jpg" file. It is triggering the UAC control because Windows does not like the size of the file.
-
ok deleting that logo file solved all problems including Tir and Ventrilo issues.
Thanks

I am encountering the aceshigh.exe error. Cannot get the game to launch.

You have to re-map it to the A and D keys. Mapped to the pedals cancels the keyboard.
