 I downloaded the new patch for AH,started the game and got this:ERROR Initialization failed with -9 mainWLD_FAILED-1.I have no idea what this means.Now I can't even Log into the game.

Was there any failure during the installation?  What version were you updating from?  That error means that it's not able to read one of the resource files.  The easiest fix without going into a lot of troubleshooting is to download the base and just install that over the top of your existing installation.

The version is "AH2240 to AH2241.

Try running as Administrator, it did the same thing to me

I had to re-install the last patch AH2240 to AH2241,twice,but it worked out.The first and second times there was an install error.

I just got home from work all excited that there was a patch that was supposed to fix the issues.....

alas, even after download and install, I am getting the same error message when I click on "Online Arenas" on the clipboard from the Title Screen.  Here is a pic.

Oh, I renamed the old settings file and moved it out of the hitech creations folder and it still gave me the same thing.  If there is any information that will help you in determining what is causing this, please let me know. I am going through withdrawals...lol

Oh, btw, I also noticed that I had not updated Windows in 2-3 months, so I did that this AM before work and I am running Intel Core i7, Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit, 4GB RAM, EVGA Nvidia GTX 260, Corsair 750W PSU, Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals.

After downloading the patch from within the game it did not run the installation wizard.  I manually ran the patch, the install wizard came up, no problem after that.
