It seems that HTC has been having more fun with these new additions, for example the .plane 118 and the "Rinse and Repeat" tallymarks in the B-29. Was looking for some more with this release and found some. Couldn't stop laughing when I "I Like Beer" on the C-47. That plane is now a tad bit more fun to fly now, just to read those. Thank you plane builders for the giggle. :aok
Also just noticed the "Hat Trick to Greebo" thing on the release notes. You guys seem to be having a lot more fun lately, and it's making this game, dare I say it, even MORE addicting.

Obviously I missed it but what exactly is ".plane 118"?

I was expecting a B-29 with a pink Hello Kitty skin that dropped giant jelly beans.

Easter eggs are hidden additions that don't belong but are added with a sense of humor. The .plane 118 falls into that category.
However, things like the kill tally in the B-29 tail gunner?
Not an easter egg. It's a nice little addition, but doesn't qualify as one of those. Things like "we like beer" on the goon is not so much an easter egg (it's right there in plain sight, no?) as it is a nod to tradition, to past herritage of the game. The troops are called "drunks" so it stands to reason...
Now, I would say the bottle of booze under the F4U seat might be an easter egg and a reference to Pappy Boyington's drinking problems, the TV show "Black Sheep" or any number of things :D
Flying over a remote part of the sea and stumbling across a godzilla head (like he's wading towards Tokyo)? Now THAT's an easter egg.

They should model in a giant HiTech head, not godzilla. :P

I cant remember which plane had it but i found a cockpit with the name superfly in it. Would that count as an Easter egg??

Yea, it's the YaK9U.
Paying tribute to it's creator i guess :)

have you seen the dancing troops in the hanger yet?
-
In the new C47 if you look down between the seats there is a plate that says "While you're reading this someone has gotten on your 6."
I got a nice chuckle out of that.

I always thought small things added for chits and giggles that didn't effect gameplay were what easter eggs were. Like grunt birthday party in Halo or paintball mode in the 007 games.

where is the beer thing on the C47?

for many, yes, but since it's on the instruments panel, I think it shouldnt matter?
