Title: Pilot In Command
Post by: 68Wooley on April 26, 2011, 11:44:39 PM
So for a variety of reasons, it took me about a year longer than longer than I'd planned but today I finaly passed my PPL check ride. After all the stress leading up to it, it was pretty smooth sailing.

Oh - and I also found out I'm going to be a dad for the first time. All in all not a bad week - feeling pretty chuffed with myself.  :D :D :D

Wtg, don't go die a stupid death. Don't force your luck, if you r in trouble, undo what you just did. If you don't like what you are doing, go back and give it a go later. :old:

Hearty congratulations!   :aok.

For your future flying endeavors, remember the three most useless things in aviation:

  1. Gas in the gas truck.
  2. Runway behind you.
  3. Altitude above you.

Welcome to the fraternity of aviators!   :salute

LOL - only downside to all this is my "airplane purchasing fund" has suddenly been redesignated "college fund".

Tell her the kid could use the plane to learn how to be a pilot and then an astronaut
