I saw the stadium in front of the tornado. Was not sure what stadium it was.

We're feeling the love up here in KY. Nothing much with tornados, but rain and flooding. Hopefully everyone in Tuscaloosa is okay, thoughts and prayers. It has to be scary.
-
I hope you just get rain Wildcat .. that was one scary looking beast.
I have a feeling I'm going to be busy the rest of the week.

My sisters going to AU. She was hiding in the library when it hit. It missed the library along with the heart of the campus. She's still trying to get back to her apartment. Not sure if its gonna be there. A cvs 1/4 mile away is gone.
-
I'm glad to hear she's okay dud.
Great... it's moving into KY. Hunker down Wildcat.
-
Dich, it takes more than a tornado watch to get my bulky arse in the basement. If I hear sirens, I'll definitely get down.
-
So long as you keep your head firmly attached to your shoulders I'm happy bro :D

That one that went through Tuscaloosa stayed on the ground all the way up to Gadsden which is over 100 miles away. It also got clocked with wind speed of 174 knots and has been confirmed as an EF5 already that went through there. It hit Birmingham about 40 minutes after it went through downtown Tuscaloosa and through the campus at the University of Alabama. When it went through Tuscaloosa it was only about 1/4 to 1/2 mile wide. When it hit Birmingham it was almost 2 miles wide in the destruction path.
My house got him with trees that got knocked down by a small tornado about 5:45am.
Total known fatalities as of 8:26pm are 37....that is just what the know right now. We have over 350,000 homes without power in the state and over 160k of those homes are in the Birmingham metro area. This was a bad storm.
-
Man the south is getting pounded, what the hell did we do? Everyone in the path of these storms hunker down, stay safe and good luck.
-
Keep us posted Reschke..
-
Good news is that we are almost done with the storms. We have one more that is headed through the area in the south part of Perry County (Marion, AL) and headed towards my parents location.
That is the last one that is showing for us.
-
Go to www.cbs42.com for videos and pictures from Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. It looks like a damn warzone. Gas mains are popped open and fires are going in Birmingham right now.
-
My old college football buddy and room mate is the mayor of Tuscalossa and he is talking right now on the news and he is having a tough time. My thoughts and prayers are going out to him and as of 7:30pm just Tuscaloosa 17 confirmed fatalities and that number is going to go up.
-
:pray for the people in that area.

I have a pretty good contact with a customer in Tuscaloosa that can help get some information from the area and can get into areas of the town that are hard hit.

One cell came about mile from my house, luckily it was just rotating and not on the ground. It touched in virginia, killed one person. Scary ish, prayers to yall down south
-
Well my old room mate from college who us the mayor of Tuscaloosa thinks the death toll there will be at least twice what it is today since so many people are still unaccounted for. We have pieces of mail and houses from Tuscaloosa in my yard and I live about 50 miles from there. If a person got sucked up in the storm who knows how far they could go before being dropped out.
