Title: Aces High and Tethering

I'm thinking about using my iPhone and tethering for internet service.  Anyone have experience or thoughts? I did a speed test and download speeds range from 1.2 to 1.5 mbps.

I'm also on a 4GB plan so I was curious how much data is being sent.

I have never tethered before, but I seem to doubt you'll be able to get a consistent enough connection to play smoothly. There are still plenty of people who play on dial-up still, but speed isn't everything.  If your phone is unable to deliver a smooth consistent connection, you may have trouble playing.

That is just my initial reaction, but if someone knows more, please correct me.

Wire: good. Wireless: bad.

response times via 3G and better are very bad.
