Title: games crashes when i try to fly 190a5

Hey hope someone can help. I reinstalled the game due to problems after a patch with the game crashing when i tried to fly the 190a5 after the reinstall it still does this when i select the 190a5 it locks up at hanger screen then briefly shows the plane on the runway before the game crashes. I have tried to uninstall the game completely so i can reinstall it but it will not do it because it leaves the settings folder with a file called 190a5 slv that will not delete. The 190a5 is the only plane it does this with any help will be great.

Rename the ole settings file "old settings" and then install. It will give you a new settings file.

Are you using custom sounds?

Thanks Fugitive i'll try this when i get home today.Krusty at one time i did have custom sounds installed.

Make sure you clear out your custom sounds. There's a good chance that one of them is causing the crash and you only hear it when you begin flight. Could be external ack guns firing, drones' engines, GV sounds, could be flaps, gear, whatever.

Clear them out and go back to default, and see if that fixes it.
