... all of the most awesome custom skins that Greebo, Fencer, busa, crowbaby, knite, cactuskooler, and a whole host of others have submitted since the B29 and the new A6M5 were added (and prior)!
There must be 20 or more new skins that could be added to the game. I know there are some outstanding Panther skins, as well at least 1 B29 skin on HTC's desk to get approved and added. Not to mention P38, Mossi, P47, and a number of other aircraft as well.
That is my wish for today! :aok
Carry on. :D

what if I like the pony skin that you want replaced? it has a brighter color than the washed out and incomplete look that the second one has.

Im not vouching for anything to be replaced but rather for HTC to get the numerous skins into the game for the Panther, B29, new zeke's, new goon, P38's, etc.
Currently there are no custom skins for any of the remodeled/new zekes, Panther, remodeled goon, or B29, and those of us who watch that forum know there are many custom skins that have been submitted. Also, there are some very nice Mossi, P38, P47, and a few other new skins that would fill OPEN slots in current aircraft.

I still miss the shark tooth grin light blue under-belly skin for the F6F5. Who made that skin? Seem to remember the name Ralph or something like that.... :headscratch:

I think you forgot the sarcasm tags... at least, I hope you forgot them. :headscratch:

actually there's no sarcasm intended. I seriously like the first skin rather than the second one. the second one does look all washed out and incomplete. not trying to put down the skinner, he did a fine job. I asked for a second opinion and my gf said the same thing.
I guess what I am trying to say is that great/ugly skins definition changes from person to person. I like solid "bright" colors the redder/bluer/greener the better, instead of the "used" up look that the second skin has. just my opinion of course, yours is the opposite.

i prefer battle weary looking skins...the clean shiny look just translates to cartoon in the game.
-
It's more that the 2nd has a lot more detail than the 1st IMO
Like with the 1st one, you can barely tell it has panels at all, while the 2nd is in great detail

I mean, because it's not a cartoon game or anything.

I hope neither you or your girlfriend ever join the skinning team.
Off topic, did you two meet at a National Federation of the Blind convention? :devil

ok smarty pants (http://th165.photobucket.com/albums/u55/BJ_BOBBI_JO9/Violence/th_thth0070adfd.gif) at least there is some effort not to come across as a dr. seuss animation.

A cartoon game would involve bugs bunny or barbie dolls IMHO.
This isn't a cartoon game, it's a virtual game of pixel devastation..

Ironically, Seuss actually did contribute to the war effort, making War Bond posters and such. He was a political cartoonist during those times.
