Well a big "thanks" to those baddies around A128 and A129 that humored a frail old C202 last night. I was popping in and out of the battle trying to stay alive (sometimes outnumbered by a wide margin). I managed to survive at the expense of not getting many kills, but overall it was still quite an experience.
I ended up locking up and crashing to the desktop after a couple hours or so, but I have no regrets (other than not getting to land my name in lights at the end there).
Big thanks to those that kept putting up a fight instead of moving to a lesser fight elsewhere, and big thanks to the handful that flew right in front of me and let me latch on to get a kill here or there....
:D

Can't beat that C.202 Krusty. Nothing like flying into a bunch of red guys and putting non-fatal bullet holes in everything. :lol Love her just the same! :aok

Well part of it's the discipline not to take cheap shots, for me. You have to fight to get into position and keep it until you get the job done, whereas if I'm in a C205 I'll take potshots without comitting to the fight as hard (expecting better 20mm damage)

I remember that last night. I wasn't there because POTW was attacking other bases going for the win. There was so many planes in between and over 129, I literally couldn't even see the base.
If my framerate wasn't so horrible, I would have loved to go there and get me some :aok
