I never go to movies.

When they come out on BR is when I see them. Thor did not look like a movie I'd rent.

I think that was the Cosmic Cube (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_cube). At least that's what the Wiki article on the movie said.

you listen to wiki?

hmm you may be right though. it looked like a piece of the rainbow bridge. the way i been led to believe it at the end of thor they find captain america's shield. this all leads up to the movie for the avengers. now i cant wait for the captain america movie coming out later this year. becuase i really cant wait to see what more of the story that leads up to the avengers they find.

History is one thing, pop culture is another matter entirely.

captain america's sheild is supposedly in ironman...part of it is on a work bench in tony starks garage/laboratory...looked like part of a neon clock to me.

The shield was in ironman.  After te credits Loki is still alive.  I don't want to spoil anything, so.

no they found thor's hammer at the end of ironman 2. i think i heard someone say that the shield was just a prop. but anyways i cant wait see i thought they were gonna find captain america frozen in ice and the leads to the captain america movie. but seeing the trailer to the captain america movie that blew that idea away. but if it infact is the cosmic cube then i really really really cant wait for the avengers movie.

IIRC Ironman didn't take a hit from an M1, he dodged the shot then hit it with that tiny little missile of his. Cute scene.

tank knocked him out of the air, first shot...must have been an ah player in the tank...after ironman crawled out of the crater he made when he fell out of the air, second shot from tank missed.

They showed Thor's Hammer.

They showed thors hammer after the credits, yes.  But if you watch the part of the movie where he's making that giant ring.  It shows captain Americas shield.  He uses it to balance the ring.

Yes, we are.

What happens if I take the red pill AND the blue pill?

you will then truly be human, and not an illusion. you will transend from the virtual world into the real world.

Thought about going to see it last night, but was only showing in 3D.  I don't like 3D, way too annoying.  Hopefully Hollywood will get off the 3D gimmick soon.

Actually, the 3D in this was handled VERY well, especially the IMAX 3D. Not gimmicky at all.

3D is a gimmick.  Came and went before, hope it goes again soon.  Hate wearing cheap crappy glasses to watch a movie.   Never felt deprived of 3d in movies before.

yup, looks part of a flimsy sign...the prop was lacking a bit but...it was indeed captain america's shield that s.h.i.e.l.d. agent picked up and said "do you know what this is?"

all this talk about thor's hammer made me drop ironman 2 in the dvd player and navigate past the credits...lol...thor's hammer looks like an ancient shop hammer my dad had many years ago.

I don't doubt those hints were in the ending titles but I mean who the effin cares about stuff like that? Hollywood is really leading you guys up lol!

ya i know but...think about it, when i was reading and collecting the comic books, the anticipation for the next issue was maddening...and there were no animated series of any super heroes on any of the 3 commercial stations that aired.

these movies are those old comic books come to life in full living color with awesome special effects...it's going to be interesting to see how far hollywood goes with them.
