Title: Capture Card choices?
Post by: stealth on May 07, 2011, 10:16:46 PM
Well I'm making some funny little black ops and homefront and pretty much any XBOX360 game videos. What kind of capture card should I use. Do you have any other suggestions of what I should do. I don't wanna be a looser and put a camera on my T.V. and have the noises of my dog barking in the background.

What should I do to make some good high quality picture and noise videos for recording on my Xbox360 to my PC?

I think Pinnacle is a good brand to look for. Not a capture card guru myself.

I have the Happauge HD PVR. It cost about 200-300 bucks and records in HD. The other recorder I have is the D donut le HD, it is just as good as the Happauge, but the quality is slightly worser. If your on a budget the D donut le HD cost 80 bucks. I highly recommend both of those recorders.

PS: If you buy the Happauge you won't have to buy any other pieces for it. If you buy the Dazzle you have to buy at least 2 AVI Splitters and a double ended AVI cable.

Yay now I can record Zombies getting blown to shreds. I'm going with the Hauppage HD after schools out and I got some more money. (Collects bottle caps)  ;)
