I didn't know where to put this but taking a chance lol.
This happened earlier as we were getting ready to take a base 43 despite the bishop numbers. It was an only about 20 seconds worth of range VOX between FDKilla and TapOut. I missed whoever said something that TapOut was originally responding too due to not getting within range in time but what I did hear was hilarious. The vTard legacy lives on..
FDKilla: “We don’t want to destroy [inaudible] for us”
TapOut: “Yeah dude, we can hold the cap with 25 planes I’m sure”
TapOut: “No, you don’t want to be a vTard”.
FDKilla: “Are you calling me a vTard!?!?!”
TapOut: “I said ‘don’t be a vTard, killing every freaking hangars’”
TapOut: “We still have to defend this base afterwards”

Then may I ask, will Vtard also apply to the following:
1. Bar full of Large Woman gravitating towards 1 skinny guy
2. All those morons who when they see an accident slowly make there way to "see whats going on" and therefore cause traffic jams, long lones, etc.
3. Cant think of anything else right now (more to follow?)

vTards are experts at taking undefended bases. They'll drop the VH, ords, dar, then FH's and horde camp the base with tanks, usually finished off with a spam drop of troops. If you manage to get a few vehicles up or into any A2A with them you'll find that outside of these parameters their ... effectiveness... is somewhat lacking :)

Hey I'm a vTARD and I don't take offense to the term.
Taking out the ords is something we don't usually do, it does happen from time to time but it's not part of our S.O.P. normally.
I don't see what's wrong with taking out the hangers. I mean we do have to haul the bombs all the way there first. My favorite thing about Aces High is the variety of ways to play the game.

I think its funny many of you "purist" make comments about taking out hangers and the undefended bases. Taking out hangers have been going on for years, bases are only "undefended" if your country allows them to be.
I guess we could talk about some other squads that only show up to vulch airfields and only hover to attack uppers, but that wouldn't be the cool thing to do these days.
Perhaps some of you should move on, enjoy the game, and concentrate on your OWN styles of play.

a little advice.
Launching a plane on a capped field is probably going to result in a sortie that never gets off the ground.
Launching a plane to defend a capped field from a nearby field is much more effective and gives you a big energy advantage once you get to the capped field.
If you don't like the idea of bases changing hands, there is a special arena just for you. In the dueling arena you will never hear complaints about horde's rolling bases, ENY or perks.

You are right. It does happen on all sides. I also remember those days but most players get drawn to the real estate game and after a while get bored of it. Guess thats the saving grace for all the "end of the glory days of AH" guys.

Hey now 10 years or so here playing AH and I still love the real estate game as much as any other part of AH. :) AH would not be the great game it is without it.

Actually Knits don't launch 60 plane raids to take undefended bases, generally their's a furball for half a day over 1 base.
As most would say I can see why the Vtards need 60 to take one base, last few times they got busted for not dropping every single hanger.
/Fun to get the dallas treatment for killing him over and over and over and over.
