I wish to remove F3 and all other external views.
Enable ALL, planes for every field. (yes A 262)
Put a pt spawns in the middle of the lake!

Personally, I would like to see 262s in the DA, but I would not like to see them in the fur ball lake.
Maybe some lucky soul will put some 30k mountains in there so we can have 262s.

I wouldn't mind seeing 262's, just like seeing tempests everywhere is dumb! Why can we have a temp and no 262? It will make evading 262's easier from all the practice in the DA

Imo htc needs to be focused on adding things to the game that enhance fun, not taking things out of the game that might tick people off.

IMO is better for working on your SA if you dont use the f3 views while others do. if you dont like the f3 views just dont use it :D
but i dont see why not having the 262 there.

Because it has been that way for years and maybe there are some players that fly that way. Remove it, and they'll probably quit.
Who would it help by removing it? It provides no advantage.

so...someone flying out of the horde has a low 6 con creeping up and no one around to give a check 6...without f3 he would never see the danger but with f3 he sees it and has time to react...no problem there i suppose.
2 people get into a dogfight...using f3 mode they never lose sight of their opponent and win enough fights to they are ace pile-its...decide to join others in the main arenas and figure out there is no f3 mode for fighters and they go back to the da...if f3 mode was disabled in the da they would have a chance to actually learn better habits in an arena where there are no scores or stats, from ace heroes like yourself and have a better chance of not getting totally owned in the main arenas and quitting.
for those knights of the round table who believe dueling in the da is the epitomy of showing ones true skillz...how do they know neither is using f3 mode? it's not verifiable with any settings.

Lol gyrene, if you think dueling in f3 mode, using throttle work, timing, engaging in rolling scissors, controlling stalls, etc., is better suited in F3 mode, then you do not know the first thing about performing in any capacity other than that of a total noob.

F3 gives a huge adv. In fights like grizz says all you have to do get a shot angle and use f3 and BAM! Fight over...

Or stay in your cockpit, slide your head a little bit if need be, tip your wing, line it up, BAM fight over.

ma has all the airplanes enabled and most planes have no f3 view, fly there, let the guys who play day and night in the da f3 themselves to death in their tempest. :D
if everybody has f3 then no one has an advantage.

Lol gyrene, if you think dueling in f3 mode, using throttle work, timing, engaging in rolling scissors, controlling stalls, etc., is better suited in F3 mode, then you do not know the first thing about performing in any capacity other than that of a total noob.
obviously you're one of those who can't and/or don't use it if/when you go to the da...that's great...i can't use it, the perspective is off...but i know people who can and do...it does give an advantage...not even "slide your head a little bit" can compensate for viewing angles afforded by f3 mode.

F3 doesn't make a pilots skill any better it may make te pilot worse! It improves SA, and allows the person to make under the nose "impossible" deflection shots.

I rarely lose sight of my opponents in a fight and when I do, the last thing I ever attempt is to disorient myself by flashing to F3 mode and looking around and trying to correlate that information back to F1 mode. I just locate him in F1 mode first. In the rare event he isn't where he is supposed to be there is only a couple places he can be.

What does this have to do with the topic at hand? If you want to discuss stick stirring, start a thread and I'll let you know how many times it has saved my bellybutton when I have 5 guys right on my tail.

about as much as calling me a noob...and not even a noob like me resorts to the kind of throttle chopping stick stirring stuff i've seen you do with just 2 people on you.

never found F3 to be of much use other than a general scan around but for those that fly n fight "arcade" style let em,the more the merrier. :joystick:

I don't think that the F3 Mode makes much of a difference, its a very good training aid for combat flying. It allows you to watch the control surfaces and see the fight from a wider perspective. I think that the in cockpit skill comes from the duel, the 1v1 fight in the MA. The MA is where you become an ace pilot.
The DA to me has been the TA. When I want to try a new move, or a new plane, if im bored and looking to screw around. I hop in the DA and make some noobs miserable.
Keep F3, it keeps the HAWX and BLAZING ANGELS wannabe crowd happy, it gives us more baby seals to club and its very useful if we wanna do some training and view how some aircraft operate.

F3 mode makes it easier to maintain SA not in duel but certainly at cherry picker bog . I started in DA when I went to MA it hurt some but it wasn't a giant crutch or a giant thing to get over . I would like to see it go though .

Ban the spit16(or limit the numbers able to be airbourne at a time).
reason: do i really need to say? it takes the fun out of the fight when the bish run to this dweeb plane because they cant fight the knights any other way. seeing a horde of spit16s is enough for me to quit the DA for the night.
Ban the Tempest:
reason: users do nothing but HO&run in it, or pick, never dogfight, just HO&run HO&run.it also seems to be the plane most DA vultchers love to use.
put a altitude cap over the lake.
reason: to stop the temp&other dweebs from needing a 10k alt difference before engaging.

The whole F3 mode thing pretty much amounts to lucky shots. Flying that way you are lucky to even get a solution, hitting that way is pretty much spraying.
Also NO to all planes in DA. Id like to see the Temp removed. The lake should be planes designed for manuever not just speed. Ya Ive seen a few fight in it, but not many. They just ruin too many fights...friends or enemy, it doesnt matter, when one of the fight dies it sucks. Then they blow past thinking they did something awesome. Probably have a Walmart brand pleather jacket with patches on while doing it!
