Title: Should HiTech be cryogenically frozen now?
Post by: pervert on May 20, 2011, 07:11:09 AM
I'm thinking long term here people to save him for future generations to enjoy this game! If HiTech were to kick the bucket one day we would be screwed! And I'm pretty sure ghosts can't write code, unless he would maybe haunt the rest of the HTC team and give them advice? What other options are available??

I believe this matter has recently been addressed by the recent birth of sprog! (HiTech Jr?). ;)

this is all a bit irrelevant as tomorrow is the Rapture and the world as we know it will be ending

God fearing Christians will ascend to heaven, and the unrighteous will be left upon Earth to suffer the wrath of the Almighty

Silly clone ideas.  Hitech should be uploaded into a server.  Just make sure it is one that Skuzzy can't trip over the power cord! :D

But if the game depends on him, which is the premise for freezing him for future generations, then WE would be screwed without him NOW. I say we keep him for us. A bird in the hand....

I like the clone idea, only combine it with the cryogenics.
That way we could keep a HiTech & freeze the other one for later.

The world is ending tomorrow anyways so being frozen won't help.  If by some miracle it doesn't end tomorrow, it is ending Dec,2012 so either way, freezing is not a good idea.

In-case you may be worried about the embalming fluid supply.
It may be a good Idea for you to help HTC stock up on it.

Well, while you're enjoying that, send me all the code with a backup server and let's start the process of me taking over when you're gone.  :devil

First change will be the addition of perm-squelch for those excessive chatter boxes on 200.  :aok

Second, we'll give Bruv  some AH land, a barn, and plenty of sheep in MA.  He deserves it, don't you think?

Third, hmm, AKAK, did you say your rounds aren't hitting Midway for some reason? :D

Easy now, its a game he made, not the world supply of beer!

Ya it would suck if he died and all we had to play was WoW...but again...we'd still have beer!
