This just started tonight. The game worked 2 nights ago with no known changes on my end. Start AH, splash screen comes up then the first menu. At this point the mouse pointer is gone. If I move the mouse around on the menu while clicking it will pick something if it happens to be over a selection. Move the pointer far enough and it will show up on the desktop. I eventually clicked enough places to get to an arena, once there the terrain loaded, then after 30 seconds AH crashed to the desk top. Rebooted and tried it again, same behavior with the crash to the desktop.

I just couldn't believe this was AH with no changes to my box, so I reseated the Video card and darn if that hasn't seem to fix the problem. Sorry to post prematurely without trying everything first. Fingers crossed this is the fix. :lol

I had a similar issue the other day. I couldn't find the mouse for a while on the splash screen. When I finally did, I had a hard time with it.
Seemed like it was going behind the splash image.
I was messing with this PC a little that day, so I figured it was on my end. I shut it down for the night, and next day, no troubles. ;)
