This is if you have Windows7:

Start - Devices and Printers - (right click) X-52 - Game Controller Settings - Properties.  Then close Devices and Printers.  Leave Properties open and then you can start AH.  All of the controller buttons will now work in-game.

If you leave the saitek program that has the sliders for the LEDs and shows you what the button number is when you hit it you can use the stick like before you installed the drivers. The other alternative is to reinstall windows.

I had same problem with Win7 ,if i pushed the i button at Hotas the HUT LED at the Joystick did flash and I could use some buttons ore the scroll wheel
-If you dont use the SAITEK programm, uninstal it
than use another usb port for youre x52 ,if the LCD Monitor on youre HOTAS have no light than you can use all buttons for AH again.
good Luck

Delete the drivers, reboot, let windows install default drivers.  That's it.

1. Open the Saiteck Control Panel.
2. Go to the MFD Section
3. Uncheck "Enable Clutch Mode"

btw, I have the software installed too.  To me it's very useful.
Nothing like trippin the wire for WEPS, on the throttle.
